What is an open source college management system?

An open source college management system is software whose full source code is publicly available, allowing colleges to self-host, customise, and extend it without licensing restrictions. OpenEduCat is built on the Odoo framework under LGPL and covers the complete college operations stack: admissions, SIS, CBCS grading, exam management, attendance, placement, and finance. The Community Edition is free to self-host.

How much does open source college management software cost?

The OpenEduCat Community Edition is free to download and self-host. Colleges that need managed cloud hosting, premium modules, advanced reporting, or dedicated implementation and support choose the Enterprise Edition. Enterprise pricing is per user.
