PayPal School Fee Payment Integration

Enterprise EditionPayment Processing

Let families pay tuition with their PayPal account, debit card, or credit card — trusted in 200+ countries

Overview

PayPal is the most recognised payment brand globally, with over 400 million active accounts across 200+ countries. For education institutions with a diverse parent community, offering PayPal as a payment option reduces checkout abandonment from families who are cautious about entering card details on unfamiliar portals — they pay with their existing PayPal account, which they already trust. OpenEduCat's PayPal integration connects the student payment portal to your PayPal Business account. When a family selects PayPal at checkout, they are redirected to PayPal's hosted payment page, complete the transaction, and return to the portal where their invoice is automatically marked paid and a receipt is issued. For institutions serving families who need flexible payment options, PayPal's "Pay Later" feature allows families to split large tuition invoices into interest-free installments — at no additional cost to the institution. PayPal handles the installment schedule while you receive the full amount upfront.

Key Capabilities

PayPal Checkout

Families with a PayPal account pay using their balance, linked bank account, or saved card — without entering card details on your portal.
