How does the Fawry payment flow work for parents?

When a parent selects Fawry at checkout, OpenEduCat generates a unique Fawry bill reference code and sends it to the parent. The parent takes this code to any Fawry agent (pharmacies, supermarkets, Aman, Masary kiosks) or pays via Fawry Plus app/website. Paymob notifies OpenEduCat within minutes of payment, and the invoice marks paid automatically.

Is Paymob PCI DSS compliant?

Yes. Paymob is PCI DSS Level 1 certified. Card data is entered on Paymob's hosted payment page and never passes through your OpenEduCat server. Your institution's PCI scope is limited to your Paymob merchant agreement.

Get API Credentials

In Paymob Dashboard > Settings > API, copy your API Key, HMAC Secret, and Integration IDs for each payment method you want to offer.

Go to Settings > Payment Providers > Paymob. Enter your API Key, HMAC Secret, and configure Integration IDs for each payment method (card, wallet, Fawry).
