AsiaPay School Fee Payment Integration

Enterprise EditionPayment Processing

Collect school fees across Asia-Pacific — cards, Alipay, WeChat Pay, and UnionPay in HK, SG, TW, TH, PH, and beyond

Overview

AsiaPay is Asia's leading independent payment service provider, with 25+ years of operation across Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, India, Japan, and mainland China access markets. For education institutions across Asia-Pacific that need a single trusted gateway rather than managing multiple regional providers, AsiaPay provides unified payment infrastructure with deep local market expertise. AsiaPay is particularly strong for Greater China connectivity — accepting Alipay, WeChat Pay, and UnionPay for students and families from mainland China, giving Hong Kong and international schools with significant mainland Chinese student populations a way to accept the payment methods those families use daily. For multi-campus Asia-Pacific school groups, AsiaPay's cross-border routing and multi-currency capability means fee collection in HKD, SGD, TWD, THB, PHP, and VND flows through a single reporting dashboard.

Key Capabilities

Alipay & WeChat Pay

Accept payments from mainland Chinese families via Alipay and WeChat Pay — essential for schools with Chinese student cohorts in HK, SG, and international campuses.

UnionPay

China's dominant card network with 9 billion cards issued globally. Required for full coverage of Chinese and Taiwanese card holders.

Local Card Networks

JCB (Japan/Taiwan), local debit cards across Southeast Asia. Visa and Mastercard accepted across all markets.

Multi-Currency APAC

HKD, SGD, TWD, THB, PHP, VND, MYR, INR, and other APAC currencies. Settlement to local bank accounts per market.

Online and In-Person

AsiaPay provides both online payment gateway and payment terminals — same merchant account for portal payments and finance office counters.

Fraud Management

AsiaPay's PayDollar fraud scoring engine tailored to Asia-Pacific fraud patterns.

Frequently Asked Questions

Stripe covers most APAC markets but lacks Alipay/WeChat Pay depth and has limited coverage in Taiwan and some Southeast Asian markets. AsiaPay's Greater China connectivity (Alipay, WeChat Pay, UnionPay) and 25+ years of APAC market expertise make it the better choice for schools with significant Chinese student populations or multi-market APAC operations.
