Profil Pelajar Pancasila Assessment — P5 Kurikulum Merdeka Software

Kurikulum Merdeka’s P5 projects assess character across six Pancasila dimensions with descriptive narratives — not numbers. OpenEduCat manages P5 project observation records, supports efficient narrative drafting for entire classes, and auto-includes completed P5 assessments in the Rapor Digital.

P5 Project Assessment Workflow in OpenEduCat

1

School Selects P5 Project Theme

At the start of each semester, the school chooses a Kemendikbudristek-approved P5 theme (e.g., Gaya Hidup Berkelanjutan, Suara Demokrasi, Kearifan Lokal). The theme is configured in OpenEduCat and linked to the relevant classes.

2

Interdisciplinary Project Activities Run Across Term

Students carry out project activities that cut across subject boundaries — research, field visits, creative production, community engagement. These are scheduled within the school timetable as P5 time blocks.

3

Teachers Record Observational Evidence Per Dimension

As the project unfolds, teachers make observational notes for each student against each of the six Pancasila dimensions. Notes are entered in OpenEduCat's P5 observation module — linked to the student and project.

4

Dimension Narratives Drafted from Evidence

At the end of the project, the supervising teacher drafts a cohesive descriptive narrative per dimension per student, drawing from the accumulated observation notes. OpenEduCat presents all notes for each dimension in a summarised view to aid drafting.

5

Narratives Reviewed and Finalised

The class teacher or project coordinator reviews all P5 narratives for quality and consistency. Approved narratives are locked and marked ready for Rapor inclusion.

6

P5 Section Auto-Included in Rapor Digital

When the Rapor Digital is generated at the end of semester, the finalised P5 narratives for all six dimensions appear in the dedicated P5 section — formatted per the Kemendikbudristek Rapor layout without any additional data entry.

Frequently Asked Questions

Profil Pelajar Pancasila is a character development and competency framework embedded throughout Kurikulum Merdeka. It defines six dimensions that reflect the values and competencies of an ideal Indonesian learner aligned with Pancasila principles. Unlike academic subjects, these dimensions are developed through project-based learning (P5 — Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila) and assessed descriptively — with teacher-written observational narratives rather than numeric scores. The Rapor Digital mandated by Kemendikbudristek includes a dedicated P5 section where all six dimension narratives appear alongside academic grades.
