KKTP Achievement Criteria — Kurikulum Merdeka vs KKM Pass Mark

Indonesia’s Kurikulum Merdeka replaced the fixed school-wide KKM with KKTP — contextual, per-learning-objective achievement criteria set by each teacher. OpenEduCat stores KKTP thresholds per course-objective, computes Tercapai/Belum Tercapai status automatically, and manages the bimbingan intervention workflow for every student below threshold.

KKTP vs KKM — Key Differences

Achievement Level Descriptors

Four qualitative levels used in Rapor narratives and teacher feedback

Sangat Baik
91–100
Sangat BaikVery Good
Comprehensive mastery of learning objectives; applies independently to new contexts; eligible for pengayaan (enrichment) activities.
Baik
76–90
BaikGood
Solid understanding; generally meets KKTP across most objectives; occasional scaffolding needed for complex applications.
Cukup
61–75
CukupAdequate
Meets basic KKTP criteria; some learning gaps remain; benefits from additional practice and teacher feedback.
Perlu Bimbingan
0–60
Perlu BimbinganNeeds Guidance
Has not yet reached KKTP; requires targeted bimbingan intervention; teacher creates remediation plan and tracks progress.

Bimbingan Intervention Workflow in OpenEduCat

1

KKTP Flag Raised Automatically

When a student's sumatif score falls below the KKTP threshold for a learning objective, OpenEduCat immediately marks the objective as Belum Tercapai and adds the student to the Perlu Bimbingan list for that course.

2

Teacher Reviews Intervention List

The subject teacher sees a consolidated list of all students who are Belum Tercapai per objective. The teacher can add a bimbingan plan — specifying the support type (extra practice, peer tutoring, one-on-one explanation) and timeline.

3

Bimbingan Activities Recorded

As the teacher provides guided support, they log the activities completed and the student's response. This creates an auditable record of the intervention — important for parent communication and school quality review.

4

Re-Assessment After Bimbingan

After the intervention period, the teacher conducts a re-assessment for the specific objective. If the student now meets KKTP, the objective status updates to Tercapai. If not, the bimbingan cycle continues.

5

Rapor Reflects Current KKTP Status

The end-of-semester Rapor Digital shows the final KKTP status per subject — whether Tercapai or Belum Tercapai — alongside the numeric sumatif score. This gives parents a clear picture of which areas require continued attention.

Frequently Asked Questions

KKTP (Kriteria Ketercapaian Tujuan Pembelajaran — Achievement Criteria for Learning Objectives) replaces the fixed KKM (Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal) under Kurikulum Merdeka. While KKM was a single school-wide pass mark — typically 75 — KKTP is defined per learning objective by the teacher, based on their specific class context: student intake quality, available resources, complexity of the objective, and prior attainment. Two teachers covering the same topic in different schools can legitimately set different KKTP thresholds. This shift emphasises contextual, teacher-driven assessment design over standardised benchmarks.
